But we do so much more. Join us for an update on our National, Kansas, and local positions, the ideas behind our advocacy and action. Join us every third Thursday of the month for topics of League concerns. Our guest speakers are well-informed and eager to share their knowledge. We hope you can join us on the third Thursdays of the month August-May.

For those of you who are interested or have volunteered to register voters on National Voter Registration Day, please join us for training to register voters in Kansas. We will be available from 11-1 to do the training. It should take about 20 minutes to complete the instruction at your convenience. (You are welcomed to stay longer to be sure your questions are all answered!)

Both forums should conclude by 2pm and are open to the public.

Vickie James has agreed to speak to us on January 18 concerning the Flint Hills Wellness Coalition, including an overview of regional initiatives to address local food system issues such as food insecurity, hunger, nutrition, local supply, food waste, and coordination to solve problems in these areas. (Linda Morse will not present due to an unavoidable conflict. )
